––––– 溶け合う色彩と記憶、生まれる一枚の印象。
boloq (ボロック) はフィリピンの地方言語であるビザヤ語で <色> を意味する「BOLOK」が名前の由来です。ひとつとして同じものがないシートの色彩には同国での生活を通して育まれた多彩な感性がそれぞれ色濃く反映されています。boloqで使用するマテリアルは全て、フィリピンで集められた使用済みレジ袋からできています。
ひとつひとつ、柄も色も風合いも、全く異なるこのシートたちには、
作り手の記憶と今、文化と生活が溶け合い、反発し、流れゆき
確かに感じることのできる、その人の、その生活が刻まれています。
シートに満ちゆくたった一つの表情に、一輪の、一粒の、一言の想いを添えて。
自身や他者の記憶へと、深く沁み入ってゆくようなプロダクトとなることを願いながら、このユニークなプラスチックシートと共にものづくりをしています。

––––– 時に香り、音をたずさえ、色彩をまといながら。
共にある記憶は、私たちの日々にそっと姿を現し、今日に柔らかな強さを与える。なんでもないあの日を刻印した、モニュメントのような言葉。今を記憶へと橋渡す、呼び声のような思い出。失われることなく、そこにあり続け確かで不確かな存在として、私たちを強めてくれる記憶。共にある記憶へと導き、出会い、立ち戻り、私たちの今にささやかな強さを贈る。そんなブランドでありたいと願いながら、boloqを立ち上げました。
